Business Mums of Essex offers a single membership that provides access to our online hub, where members can view and download resources, receive advice and support through our members forum, submit blog posts, and enjoy discounts on our BME networking events.

Eligibility:
Membership is open to mums (at any stage of motherhood) who own or run a business. We welcome all business types, and there are no restrictions on business categories. If a member’s business overlaps with yours, it will not affect your membership or access to our services. -
Account Creation:
To access your membership benefits, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. -
Membership Fees:
Membership fees are payable as outlined in our separate Payment and Refund Policy. Access to the online hub and event discounts is granted as long as your membership is active. -
Renewals & Cancellations:
Memberships will be automatically renewed unless cancelled in accordance with our Payment and Refund Policy.
2. Member Conduct

Respectful Community: Members must engage respectfully in forums, meet-ups, and other interactions. Any offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour may result in membership suspension or termination.

Content Sharing: Members may post in forums and submit blogs. You agree that any content you share is lawful and does not infringe on the rights of others. We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms.

3. Events and Meet-ups

Event Access: Access to each event requires the purchase of a ticket. Event details, including any specific requirements or restrictions, will be provided for each event. Please ensure that you purchase the correct ticket for the event you wish to attend.

Code of Conduct: We are committed to providing a professional, respectful, and supportive environment for all attendees. By purchasing a ticket and attending our events, you agree to behave in a professional manner and treat all other participants with respect. Disruptive behaviour, including but not limited to harassment or disrespectful conduct, may result in removal from the event. Further action may be taken in cases of serious breaches of our code of conduct.

Parental Responsibility: If you choose to bring your child(ren) to an event, you are fully responsible for their safety, supervision, and behaviour at all times. Business Mums of Essex and event hosts do not accept liability for any accidents, injuries, or incidents involving children during events. Please ensure that your child(ren) does not disrupt the event or other attendees.

Changes & Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any event at our discretion. In the event of cancellation or significant changes, we will notify affected ticket holders as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend due to changes or cancellations, a refund or alternative arrangements will be provided depending on the nature of the change.
