As business owners who began our journey during maternity leave, we experienced firsthand how difficult it was to attend traditional networking events due to childcare barriers.
We knew there had to be a better way - somewhere mums could connect, learn and grow their business without the stress of finding childcare or feeling like they don't belong.
Our Story
Hey there, we’re Amy and Frankie, two mums who decided to turn our maternity leave into the ultimate power move! We both launched our businesses—Amy with Spade Marketing and Frankie with The Organised Desk—while juggling newborns, nappies, and the occasional (ok, frequent) coffee-fueled late nights. But one thing we quickly realised? Traditional networking events just weren’t built with us in mind. Between the lack of childcare options and the feeling of not quite fitting in, we found it tough to grow our businesses AND stay sane.
That’s when the light bulb went off. We knew there had to be a better way—somewhere like-minded mums could connect, learn, and grow their businesses without the stress of childcare or feeling like outsiders. So, we created it. A space where mums can come together, share experiences, pick up new skills, and have a bit of fun along the way.
